Mission Statement
The
Consortium For Children's Services, Inc., provides home- and center-based
services that empower caregivers to promote successful emotional, physical,
educational and economic outcomes for children and their families.

Vision
We
envision a community in which all children and their caregivers realize
their educational goals, live in safe and nurturing environments, and are
economically self-sufficient. The Consortium for Children's Services
will strive to strengthen the delivery of its services to clients and expand
its leadership role in the community to identify and meet the needs of
children and families.
To realize this vision, The Consortium provides
education and support services in conjunction with a number of government
agency contracts. The Consortium's programs offer home-based
preventive education and support that targets family literacy, parent
education and employment opportunities in Onondaga County, New
York. The Consortium For Children's Services supports this vision
while preserving the integrity, unity and diversity of the family through
the following:
Providing leadership in defining standards,
quality and developmentally appropriate practices.
Basing its methodology on sound educational and
scientific research to ensure quality in professional development and
program implementation.
Offering an array of services, collaborating
with partners who share similar vision and values, which support the
attainment of goals identified by caregivers.
Empowering children and families to be
self-sufficient, productive, and healthy contributors to society through
advocacy and support services.
