CCS Partners with Branch's Driving School

Portion of Defensive Driving Course Proceeds to Benefit The Consortium

Promoting safety for children and their caregivers is a core component of programs offered by The Consortium For Children's Services. With that in mind, The Consortium has teamed with Branch's Driving School to encourage all adults to hone their driving skills and make the roads safer for adults and children throughout Onondaga County.

WHAT:

A National Safety Council Defensive Driving Course presented by Branch's Driving School.

WHERE:

Driver's Village (former Penn Can Mall)

WHEN:

The six-hour course is offered at Driver’s Village, 5855 Circle Drive in Cicero, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays, or in two-part segments from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Wednesdays through Thursdays.  Upcoming course dates include:

HOW TO REGISTER:

Donate $10 directly to The Consortium's programs and services. Please note in your payment that you will be participating in the defensive driving course.  You will then receive a $13 charitable discount coupon to take to the course, at which time you will pay your discounted registration fee.

New York State drivers who complete this six-hour course are eligible for a 10% insurance discount and up to a four point reduction from your license.
